Headline News: Scientists just created a mini-wormhole!!!
A group of scientists from the California Institute of Technology, created a wormhole using a Quantum Computer! They specifically created an Einstein-Rosen Bridge, which was from a paper published by Albert Einstein and Nathan Rosen. The Einstein-Rosen Bridge is a wormhole that travels from one place to another, and uses extra dimensions of space to do so. The group of scientists used a property in Quantum Mechanics called “Quantum Entanglement”. Quantum Entanglement is when 2 particles “entangle” with each other, and send information simultaneously. These 2 phenomena of the Einstein-Rosen Bridge and Quantum Entanglement seemed very different in the late 20th century to up to 2013. In 2013, Leonard Susskind and Juan Maldacena proposed that both concepts describe the same concept of the wormhole. So, these scientists at Caltech, combined these 2 phenomenon to create a mini-wormhole (Quanta Magazine).
We are soon creating our first “QuantED Special Edition” on this topic.

What is the “What If” Workshop?
The first program for QuantED has started! It is called the "What If" Workshop. In this workshop we will cover most of the STEM subjects through interactive sessions that are based on the book "What If" by Randall Munroe. During the sessions, we dive deep into the different scenarios presented in the book. While we do that, we will touch on many important concepts in all fields of STEM including things like physics equations and mathematics equations. The best part is that this program is completely free!
Here is more Information about the program:
Cost: $0 (Free!)
Prerequisites: Need to know how to speak, write, understand, and read English.
Materials Needed: Electronic Device, Good Wi-Fi, and Zoom App Installed.
Workshop Dates: Click here.
If you have any questions about this program, feel free to contact quantednovi@gmail.com

Upcoming YouTube Videos!
We are going to post many upcoming YouTube videos in the next few weeks. The first video is a special edition about wormholes. That video will be posted some time next week. Then, we will create another videos that will be introducing many playlists with topics like Python, C++, Ecology, and HTML/CSS. Stay tuned for more YouTube videos in our YouTube channel!!!
Fun Fact of the Week!!!
More than half of the oxygen on Earth is produced by the ocean. Most of the oxygen from the ocean comes from organisms like plankton, algae, and some types of bacteria. Also another organism called Prochlorococcus produces 20% of the Earth’s oxygen alone!!! (NOAA)
